Facade Improvement Program
Provides financial incentive for improvement of the exterior appearance of buildings within the DDA district. Financial assistance is in the form of an interest free, "deferred" loan, forgivable over a five-year period. 

Midtown Association Paint Program
Any Midtown Association member, in good standing, is welcome to apply for funds for the painting of the exterior of their building. Midtown will pay for ½ of the painting project or a maximum of $500. Merchant must be a current Midtown member. Midtown will fund up to two painting programs each fiscal year (Oct.1 – Sept. 30) on a first-come, first-served basis.

Brownfield Redevelopment
The Jackson Brownfield Redevelopment Authority (JBRA) is an eleven - member Board that was established by City Council on November 13, 2002, pursuant to and in accordance with the provisions of the Brownfield Redevelopment Financing Act, Act 381 of the Public Acts of the State of Michigan of 1996, as amended. The JBRA facilitates the implementation of plans relating to the identification and treatment of environmentally distressed areas so as to promote revitalization in the City of Jackson
